In green buildings, the Triple Bottom Line refers to the convergence of benefits:
- to the Building Owner (from the financial perspective of greater revenue, lower expenses, and higher value);
- to the Building Occupants (as a healthier, more comfortable, more productive place to work, live, or spend time); and
- to our Children’s Children’s Children (resulting from sustainable use of resources, reduction of pollution and waste, and energy efficiency – ensuring future generations also will have the resources they need to pursue their goals and dreams).
